From our factory in Winterswijk, we build fully custom hearses and funeral transport vehicles with attention to detail, ergonomics and ease of daily use. At Huiskamp Carrosseriefabriek, we believe that a funeral vehicle is more than transport. It is part of the identity and professionalism of your organisation. Since 1913, we have built vehicles that convey dignity and do justice to every final journey. Bespoke construction is central to everything we do. From design and finishing to layout and ergonomics, every detail is aligned with the requirements of our clients. At the same time, we understand the vehicle as a daily workplace. That is why we combine a carefully considered design with practical solutions that support day-to-day operations. Because all disciplines are brought together in-house, from development and construction to maintenance, repair and refurbishment, we provide a single point of contact and ensure continuity and quality.

Our factory

Since 2000, Huiskamp Carrosseriefabriek has been located at the Technopark in Winterswijk. From this facility, around forty skilled specialists and apprentices work together on funeral vehicles. All disciplines are brought together under one roof, from design and bodywork to upholstery, paintwork and repair. Over the years, the building has been expanded with additional workspaces, a basement and a modern upholstery and woodworking department. With each expansion, we invest in techniques and production methods that improve efficiency and precision. In this way, we continue to develop our factory and our craftsmanship in line with the requirements of our clients.

Our history

In 1913, G.B. Huiskamp founded a carriage and coachbuilding workshop in Winterswijk, which soon specialised in state and funeral carriages. These vehicles formed the basis of a tradition that has continued for generations. With the introduction of the motor vehicle in the funeral profession, the company evolved with the times while remaining true to its principles. More than a century later, Huiskamp Carrosseriefabriek has developed into a specialist in funeral vehicle construction. What began with carriages has grown into modern craftsmanship, in which new technologies and sustainable solutions play an important role. With the same conviction that has characterised the company for generations, we continue to build hearses and funeral transport vehicles with care and attention to detail.
